I read lots of famous stuff as a teenager.  Now I'm catching up on 90s and 00s.

Lost SF
SF ideas I remember but which I can't connect to a story.

Fiction
I try to read famous stuff to have something to talk about with non SF readers.
Some of it is good but it all seems so dated since it doesn't take into account how the world is changing. 
Once humans start to change their nature it'll be even less meaningful.
I do like espionage and true crime though.

Non-fiction
Mostly pop science books

Books about Asia
Reading about a place you live is great.
