Are smarter people able to produce more varied patterns of avoidance? or is that even good?
Does glossolalia have a quality level? like, good "English" speaking in tongues is where you sound very much like english but just so happen to never make a word, while bad would be that you both sometimes do slip up and say a "real word" but also that your avoidance patterns are really bad, e.g. by using not-even-english sounds, or maybe that you would produce at max one valid continuation within a non-word, or worse yet, not-even-human animal sounds, sound expressions, gasps and moans
I am not really sure which is worse:
It seems bad to say something like "dictdionORY" and avoid a real word only at the last minute But it also seems bad to break continuation rules too early or too grossly right away as soon as each syllable is out; the person is insisting too much to break
Do some people break more subtle versions of continuation rules, like they break the normal within-word vowel patterns as part of the work of "sounding" like you are speaking a foreign language within english space? But remember that glossolaliasts don't admit that there is a difference between source-language glossolalia, right?
What does mandarin-native glossolalia sound like? This could be a good way to make some of these questions have very obvious answers - by getting reports and evals from non-speakers on whether mandarin tongues sounds mostly like just normal mandarin to them or not?
