I'd like to do this hike sometime

You'd have to get dropped off at the start and then have a car waiting along skyline boulevard.

This is doable but 1. no parking at start, probably. just as well since whoever drops you off should drive up and be there waiting for you when you arrive. 2. the 1st 4 miles is along a road, but nearly nobody ever passes and it's nice. Just rather flat. Still very nice. 3. the last part is 3.3 miles and up like 1500ft or so. It can be intense but doable w/a pack

could be fun to do sometime. ideally we could find a way to actually start with a foot in the sea?
