It took me like 8 years to notice, but nobody uses shift+letter to type capital letters. Instead, they hit the caps lock key, type the letter, then hit caps lock again to turn it off.

Nobody really minds, and pointing out shortcuts has pretty much no effect. People will be like "wow, that's interesting/useful" but they will not usually write them down or remember them.
