I am doing photomapping on open street map, which is a great site.

Tripod mounted on the front of an ebike. It's fairly stable but not 100% locked down. Having some kind of method to automatically do stabilization would make it even better.

This takes about 2-3 photos / second, and most of them are fairly sharp.
Drive Around continuously shooting. Add points later.
There are specialized devices for cars, etc which possibly would be an improvement. At least for stability, they would be.
I'd also like to get better http://mapillary.com Mapillary integration into JOSM, to drag and drop photos into that and use them for mapping. Plus, having things linked up there would be useful.
